Booking and Scheduler general use and tour manager integration Overview

The Scheduler and Bookings module was developed to provide an easy way to display scheduled dates and events on your website. It is used extensively with the Tour Manager Module

It allows for the following

• Scheduling of events by site admin
• Simple scheduling / booking of dates by site members (under redevelopment)
• Categorising of schedules by admin definable types of entries (up to 12 different categories)
• 5 different “Status” types
• Recurring options available
• support for “number of places available”. This functionality can be used for any event where there is a limited number of places/seats/tickets available
• For non-scheduled “day trips” in the Tours manager you can add additional “calendar types” specifically for the tour manager. These additional calendar types will not be displayed as filters on the calendar front-end

Displaying the events can be:

• Per Month
• Per year
• By Type of entry
• Depending on “Status” entries could be displayed as a list of scheduled events with custom links to the event detail

Tour Manager Module Integration

The Tour Manage module uses the scheduler in various different ways to display scheduled departures and day-trip availability

• as part of Viewing a scheduled tour information
  
• as part of making a booking for a scheduled tour
  
• availability for day trips while viewing the trip information
  
• making a booking for a daytrip it check availability automatically
