Carer Training Tracker - Maintaining Social Care Council Post Registration Training for Social Care Workers.

The "Carer Training Tracker" website is aimed at people in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland that are registered Social Care Workers.

Once you are registered with one of the Social Care Councils you will need to maintain a list of Post Registration Training and Learning activities to prove to the registration board that you still qualify to be on the Social Care list to allow you to work as a Care Assistant.

A problem was identified in that Social Care workers find it hard to maintain this list of Post Registration and Learning Activities.

The website makes use of XMS Systems to manage the content, members lists and article that will be posted to the website.
A bit of custom coding was done in order to facilitate the maintenance of the training and printing of the summaries.

The "XMS Ads Module" is used to display advertisements on the footer of certain pages while on the home page Google Ads are injected into the page.

Carer Training Tracker provides a means for the Social Care worker to define the registration period and easily maintain the training records. It tallies up the total number of hours and displays it in the same format as "Section C" of the Social Care Council registration renewal form making it easy to copy the information into the form.

The Social Care Worker also has the option to download a PDF version of the training that can be printed and included as part of the application form.
